That was fast, Apple. I'm especially pleased because this release fixes the only crash that I know about in AlbumMixer. Thanks to Dave Cody for the excellent problem report.

Juana's Salsa

This is a classic tomatillo salsa. Don't be afraid to add a little water: if you skip that, it can set up like cement.
Chill and serve. It's good with chips, or tamales, or tacos, or a spoon.
- 10 dried japanese chiles
- 15 tomatillos
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt
Chill and serve. It's good with chips, or tamales, or tacos, or a spoon.
AlbumMixer 1.2 Now Available - Shuffle those Albums (and playlists and genres)
October 01, 2009 at 08:03 PM | categories: iOS | View Comments
AlbumMixer 1.2 is now available. This update includes features that users have requested: a "next album" button, and the genre-based shuffle, and playlist-based shuffle. The UI is also much nicer, IMO. And the basic album shuffle still works, too.
Besides all that, this update includes a change in the official app name to "AlbumMixer - Shuffle by Album". Just a few minutes after that change went live, app store searches for "album shuffle" began to show AlbumMixer as the third match (finally!). So there's a lesson here for iPhone developers: if your keywords might be confused with an existing app, embed them in your application name.

Shadowclan? Riverclan? Grassclan?

Evangelina continues to be a star on this intarweb thing (see these cat clans linking to images here). She is flattered by the copious praise for her fighting and hunting prowess (sadly nonexistent unless you count insect kills), but she does wish they'd learn how to tell a tom from a moggie, and what color her eyes really are. And if those riverclan people are implying that she's fat... well!
I'd add that some of the writers might benefit from further acquaintance with the humble comma. And what about "rouges"? Do they mean "rogues", perhaps?
