Michael Blakeley is an independent consultant, working with a variety of companies on performance and scalability issues. He was an early employee at MarkLogic, where he worked with key customers, delivered customer training, and worked on a variety of performance and scalability issues. He also developed and maintained several tools used by customers and consultants, including cq, RecordLoader, XQSync, and Corb.
His prior experience included work for Ziff-Davis, SGI, Netscape, and Oracle, along with SPEC and TPC participation. His work has appeared in PC Week, PC Magazine, MacWeek, and other publications, and talks at Internet World, Seybold, and other conferences. He holds a degree in engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
