That was fast, Apple. I’m especially pleased because this release fixes the only crash that I know about in AlbumMixer. Thanks to Dave Cody for the excellent problem report.

Do you know the way to Oxford Street?

Sunday, February 22nd, 2009

After this week’s class, I spent the weekend in London. There were a large number of tourists for mid-February, probably thanks to the weak pound. I was stopped on the street four or five times by people looking for directions to the British Museum – possibly for the exhibit on Shah ‘Abbas?

I didn’t go into any museums at all, on this trip; the weather was nice, so mostly I walked around and re-visited favorite pubs.

Snowdrops, Chalk, and Flint

Sunday, February 15th, 2009

Before the class started in Reading, I took a walk in the National Trust area near Sonning. There was still a little snow on the ground, but the weather was warm and dry.

Lunch was at the Catherine Wheel on Station Rd – nice pub.
